In the XIX century, there was a one-story factory in this building in New Jersey. However, for a family that moved into this house recently, there was not enough space, so they started a large-scale reconstruction. They built a second floor, replaced all the windows, built a terrace and a backyard. The area of the kitchen and living room was decorated with wooden beams and factory mechanisms, in memory of its industrial past. In the remaining rooms, everything is made of natural materials, with a minimum of decor and furniture.
